Description
An FRP RO Plant is a modern water purification system designed to remove dissolved salts, impurities, harmful chemicals, bacteria, and suspended particles from water using reverse osmosis technology. The term FRP stands for Fiber Reinforced Plastic, a strong and corrosion-resistant material widely used in water treatment systems. FRP RO Plants are commonly used in industries, commercial establishments, hospitals, schools, hotels, laboratories, and residential projects where high-quality purified water is required for daily operations and consumption.
The main function of an FRP RO Plant is to purify water by forcing it through semi-permeable RO membranes under high pressure. These membranes allow only clean water molecules to pass through while rejecting contaminants such as dissolved solids, heavy metals, microorganisms, and harmful salts. The result is purified water that is safe for industrial use, drinking purposes, and other applications requiring clean and hygienic water.
An FRP RO Plant generally consists of several important components including an FRP pressure vessel, raw water feed pump, pressure sand filter, activated carbon filter, micron cartridge filter, high-pressure pump, RO membranes, dosing system, control panel, and storage tank. The pre-treatment process removes suspended particles, chlorine, hardness, and organic impurities before water enters the RO membrane. This helps improve membrane efficiency and extends the life of the system.
