Description
A 4000 LPH Stainless Steel RO Plant is a high-capacity water purification system designed to produce 4000 liters of purified water per hour using advanced reverse osmosis technology. These plants are widely used in industries, pharmaceutical companies, food and beverage units, hospitals, hotels, laboratories, schools, commercial establishments, and packaged drinking water plants where a continuous supply of clean and purified water is essential. The stainless steel construction of the plant ensures durability, corrosion resistance, hygiene, and long-term performance even in demanding industrial environments.
The working principle of a 4000 LPH Stainless Steel RO Plant is based on reverse osmosis, a process in which raw water is forced through semi-permeable membranes under high pressure. The RO membranes remove dissolved salts, harmful chemicals, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and suspended particles from water while allowing only pure water molecules to pass through. This process significantly reduces Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and improves the taste, odor, and overall quality of water, making it suitable for industrial and drinking applications.
A typical 4000 LPH Stainless Steel RO Plant includes several important components such as a raw water feed pump, pressure sand filter, activated carbon filter, micron cartridge filter, water softener, high-pressure pump, RO membranes, membrane housings, dosing systems, flow meters, pressure gauges, electrical control panel, and storage tanks. The pre-treatment section removes dirt, chlorine, hardness, and organic impurities before water enters the RO membranes. This helps protect the membranes from scaling and fouling, thereby increasing system efficiency and membrane life.
