Description

A Commercial Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Plant is a water purification system designed to produce clean, safe, and high-quality drinking water for commercial use. It uses advanced reverse osmosis technology to remove dissolved salts, chemicals, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and other impurities from raw water, making it suitable for offices, restaurants, hotels, schools, hospitals, commercial complexes, and small to medium-scale water supply businesses.

The working principle of a Commercial RO Water Plant is based on reverse osmosis, where raw water is passed through a semi-permeable membrane under high pressure. This membrane allows only pure water molecules to pass through while rejecting contaminants and dissolved solids. The result is purified water with reduced Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), improved taste, and enhanced safety for consumption and usage.

A typical Commercial RO Water Plant consists of several important components, including a raw water feed pump, pressure sand filter, activated carbon filter, water softener (if required), micron cartridge filter, high-pressure pump, RO membranes, membrane housings, UV sterilizer, ozone system (optional), dosing system, flow meters, pressure gauges, electrical control panel, and storage tanks. The pre-treatment system plays a vital role in removing suspended particles, chlorine, hardness, and organic matter before water enters the RO membranes, ensuring better performance and longer membrane life.
